Chris + Nikki | Engaged | Partner Photographer Chelsy

When I look at couples that put off a glow there always seems to be a give and take about them. One is all about the details and one is super chill and balances the other out. This was very striking in Chris and Nikki’s relationship.  Chris seems to bring our the very best in her with a smile that is contagious.  Connection isn’t something you can fake. I believe it is often the parts that make us crazy about hour partners that often make our relationships work. Nikki’s detail oriented calmness and Chris’ laid back attitude make them the perfect pair. Their engagement session was effortless, romantic, and carefree. It was almost like they didn’t know I was even there. They are just meant for each other. I am looking forward to their wedding in May coordinated by Amber at Save the Date Events!

Football. I have mentioned it before but for me it is like a family activity. I love that Chris & Nikki are football fans with rival teams. I am sure that makes for a unique dynamic on game day. Having grown up in Colorado I am die hard Broncos family, so much I am not sure I would allow a Steelers jersey in my house (just kidding Chris, you are welcome anytime). 😉 What it really comes down to for me is the nostalgia of the game, the days where my grandfather used to take me to the game and we would freeze our butts off and we would spend away games snuggled at my Grandparents house surrounded by family cheering on our home team.
